Melissa joined Catalyst in 2012 and currently serves as the Director of Tax. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from St. Norbert College and brings over 20 years of diverse experience in accounting. Her background includes two years as a Senior Tax Analyst for a publicly traded company in the Fox Valley, with the remainder of her career dedicated to public accounting.
A licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Melissa is a member of the AICPA and WICPA. Her expertise and leadership play a key role in guiding clients through complex tax planning and compliance matters. Outside of work, Melissa is married and has two adult children and three stepchildren. Melissa and her husband enjoy traveling on their motorcycle, making it a goal to visit at least one national park on every trip – having explored 15 parks so far. They also love to spend time with their family and enjoy hosting family gatherings. Additionally, Melissa enjoys reading, gardening, and riding her bike.
