Accountant

Catalyst Consulting Group, LLC is looking to add to our team of accounting/tax professionals. Our growing CPA firm in Green Bay offers a variety of financial, tax, payroll, and consulting services to a broad range of clients.

Responsibilities:

• • Prepare client financial statements
  • Prepare client tax returns
  • Process client payrolls
  • Handle general bookkeeping for clients
  • Support client month end and year end close
  • Assist clients in further developing and streamlining accounting systems and financial reporting
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships 
  • Respond efficiently and timely to client needs and inquiries
  • Provide client solutions to every-day business related issues
  • Assist with accounting department projects as needed 
  • Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

• • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business
  • Related accounting experience
  • Prior payroll processing experience 
  • Bookkeeping experience 
  • QuickBooks Online experience 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

• • Proficient use of computer applications and accounting software
  • Knowledge of general accounting principles and standards
  • Ability to communicate with clients and staff, effectively, and professionally
  • High level of confidentiality, organization, focus, and attention to detail
  • Efficient with time, processes and meeting deadlines
  • Willing to learn and be challenged
  • Able to work independently and with a team
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously 
  • Individual who enjoys working directly with business owners and making a difference in their daily operations
